PilotRadar helps pilots see which flying jobs they qualify for. This page describes what we collect, why, and who can see it. It is written to match how the product actually works.

What we collect

Before you have an account

Your profile is saved to our database under an anonymous id stored in a cookie in your browser. It has no name or email attached. If you later create an account, that anonymous profile is linked to your account. Anonymous profiles that are never linked may be used, in aggregate and without identifying anyone, to improve the product (for example, to understand what hour and missing ratings are most common).

Who can see your profile

By default, no employer can see you. Your profile is used only to compute your own radar.

If you turn on “Open to opportunities” (off by default, in your profile), verified employers can see an anonymized card: your career track, hour bands (e.g. “300–400 hrs”, not exact numbers), certificates and ratings, and a coarse region. It does not include your name, email, date of birth, exact hours, or home airport. An employer can express interest; only if you accept do we share your full profile and email with that employer. You can decline, or decline and block an employer so they never see you again. You can turn the setting off at any time.

How we share data

We do not sell your data. We share it with service providers that run the product (Supabase for the database, Vercel for hosting, PostHog for analytics, Anthropic for the optional AI “career read,” and an email provider for sign-in links) and with employers only as described above. We may disclose data if required by law.

Retention and your choices

You can edit or clear your profile at any time from the profile page. To delete your account and associated data, email support@pilotradar.pro. We will delete it within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to comply with law.
